Speaker: Richard G. Williams, Jr. is a Civil War historian and award-winning author of several books, including the recently published Lexington, Virginia, and the Civil War. His illustrated talk will cover the city as home front during the war and the role of local African-Americans during the conflict, including those who enlisted with the Union forces.
